SEASON OF EPIPHANY

Divine Service with Holy Communion Sunday mornings at 10.

BIBLE STUDY

Bible study will resume on Sunday, February 22nd, the first Sunday in Lent, following the service from 11:30 to noon and will continue each Sunday. The class will be informal and will be a time when we will explore more deeply with Pastor Bernard that day’s Gospel lesson and sermon.

This class is ideal for older students and adults.

We are exploring the idea of starting a monthly entry level class Saturday afternoons as an introduction to our liturgy and the basic teachings of the church. This would be open to anyone in our church or community. If you are interested, please email the church office or call 334-4795 to leave a message.

Why use the common cup?

HOLY COMMUNION In Holy Communion we receive the true body and blood or our Lord for the forgiveness of sins. It is for those who have been baptized. If you do not have a church home or if your church does not share a common confession with this church and you would like to commune, or you are just unsure, please see Pastor before the service. If so, we invite you to the rail for a pastoral blessing; cross your arms over your chest as you kneel at the altar. We encourage the use of the common chalice as our Lord instructed. However, we also offer individual cups for those who feel that they need one.
