St. Mark Evangelical-Lutheran Church is confessional and liturgical.

We are a member of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (LCMS) and are a delightful little congregation with big hearts in a very quaint, air-conditioned chapel. The beauty of the gospel is proclaimed each week in Word and Sacrament. Come and experience the traditional Lutheran Mass in all its solemnity and beauty.

Beliefs

St. Mark’s is a congregation of the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod (LCMS)

As such the norm of our life together is the Bible, the canonical books of the Old and New Testaments. We believe, teach and confess these to be the inspired Word of God.

We believe, teach and confess the three Ecumenical Creeds – The Apostle’s Creed, The Nicene and the Athanasian – as faithful testimonies to the truth of the Scriptures. We also reject all the errors they condemn.

We believe, teach and confess that the Book of Concord is a true exposition of Scripture and a correct exhibition of the doctrine of the Evangelical Church. These are collectively called the Lutheran Confessions.

Following both Scripture and the Confessions our life together is a gathering around The Word and the Sacraments through which we receive the grace of Christ for the forgiveness of sins and the promise of life eternal.
